E-Series owners have known that removing the hood and HVAC filtration system not only reduces the weight of the vehicle, but also improves cooling throughout the engine compartment, facilitates servicing of the engine and DME box, and allows the driver to better hear the engine running. 
But there's always the question, how do you keep dust and debris from falling into the internal ventilation system? 
For this reason we have introduced a simple version of the air conditioning filter, which has been specifically designed to do this.
