This item wasn't exist self-decoding/self-Canbus【anti-flashing /anti-warning】function and DRL【Daytime running light】 function!!!
-- After installing the LED bulbs, the Vehicle needs to be decoded in the following cases:

  • 1, the headlight light is flashing, strobe or indefinitely flashing(Electrolytic capacitor decoding may worked).
  • 2, the on-board computer(ECU) reports an error, the central control panel displays an error icon or displays bulbs burns out error message.(Resistance decoding may worked)
  • 3,The bulbs does not work. What you can do is connect the bulbs to12V DC ,it can work normally(Resistance decoding may worked).
  • situation 1: use this case to judge whether it need to be decoded.
  • situation 2:use this case to judge whether is a reverse polarity plug(turn bulb's plug 180° to insert into headlamp and turn on to test)
  • Feasible Solution:
  • 1, install the decoder; the decoding rate of the decoder on the market is about 90%, can not completely decode all models, the turnover rate is larger.
  • 2, install the resistor, you need professional installation.
  • 3, using ODM to read the error information code of the ECU on-board computer, through programming means, correct the error information to achieve the decoding effect.

I wish it was brighter, however, for the price it's really good.

The package arrived in good condition, slight dents on the boxes, but the product wasn't harmed in any way. Installation was really easy, a video link as well as written directions were included in the box, which definitely made the process easier. It's not as bright as I would like, but then of course it's only 10000 LM, so it's still an upgrade from the factory bulbs the car had previously. I can't comment on longevity since I've only installed it about 2 months now, but so far so good. Definitely recommend.

Best all around LED bulbs

I bought a pair of S550 9006 LED bulbs to replace my outdated halogen fog light bulbs. Man it is a night and day difference on how much brighter the fog lamps are now compared to before. Definitely would recommend to other DIYs. The simple fact that Fahrens lightbulbs are waterproof and the fan to accompany the led chip is a nice size but not bulky like other bulbs.

Works great and greatly improves visibility

This has improved the visibility during night driving substantially. Instructions are simple and easy to follow. Its as simple as plug and play. Just make sure to properly secure the adaptor with the enclosed zipties. Only time will tell how long they will last and how they hold up. Overall they give my car a more modern look and increase visibility in the dark.

Fits my 2003 Ford Expedition

Some mixed reviews online- but I can confirm these fit a 2023 Ford Expedition and DID NOT require the canbus coder. Simply plug and play. Crazy the difference between stock. I went from dangerously low light to now I can see fantastic at night. Maybe 5 hours worth of use at night so far and no issues.

Extremely Satisfied, Very Bright!!!

The headlight assembly on my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was a bit difficult to get the LED light into the housing. I had to actually remove the screws from the frame on back of the headlight assembly, thus giving me more room to get the LED light in the hole. I also had to use 2 of those rubber rings, totalling 3 rings per bulb. I took a ring from each previous LED light bulb that I had installed, in order to get a tight snug when locking them in place. They were much cheaper than all of those other HID light bulbs and these do the exact same thing, if not better. I love the white light effect that it gives off. I'll update as time goes on with the life span of them.
